Disneyland or Bust

I am finally getting around to updating the blog. We spent last week in California doing fun things like going to Disneyland and the beach. We all had a great time. Lily said the only bad part was having to sit for so long. Yes, we drove. It took us about 15 1/2 hours to get there. On the way out we spent the night in St. George, UT. This is a shot we took of the temple.

We had some time to kill before we could check into our hotel, so we drove the kids down the Las Vegas strip. They weren't impressed. I didn't like all of the questionable billboards.

We finally made it to Disneyland and we checked in, unpacked and headed straight for the parks. The kids (and Mom and Dad) had a great time. We stayed for the fireworks, which was really fun.

The next morning we had breakfast with Lilo and Stitch. It was very yummy and fun.

We went to Huntington Beach that afternoon. Everyone had a great time playing in the sand and waves. We liked watching the surfers and walking down the pier. The kids built some huge sand castles and were worn out by the end of the day.

We spent a lot of time playing at the not too crowded Disney parks. September is a great time to go! Here is Lily with her most beloved Dumbo. She got to ride her favorite 3 times.
We pictures with the kids in their letters in the giant CALIFORNIA sign outside of California Adventure.
Lily got to visit with the princesses while the big kids rode some big kid rides. They were so sweet and she was in awe of them.

The girls loved meeting Winnie the Pooh and friends. Nick wasn't interested, so Eyeore came right to him!
This post is getting really long, so I will add some more pictures in a few days. We had a great time, but are glad to be back home!
